Vision & History

Caaligo is a creator brand centered on Minecraft, focusing on the intersection of deep-dive storytelling, experimental game modification, and immersive unfiction.

From constructing fake forgotten versions of Minecraft to investigating complex ARGs, my work aims to explore the boundaries of gaming history and the narratives that exist within the code. And I get a lot of enjoyment out of what I do, too. Whether through video essays, custom-built modpacks like Obsidian Edition, or original mystery writing, every project is crafted to challenge how we perceive the game we thought we knew and love.

Technical Focus and Experience

My development work heavily utilizes Forge and custom Java Mixins to push Minecraft beyond its standard limits. By bridging the gap between classic aesthetics and modern backend performance, I strive to create projects that feel both nostalgic and technically advanced.

Additionally, when it comes to my own creative writing and lore building projects, I try to do the best I can to test the limits of general story-telling. I have prior experience writing complex world-building projects, immersive stories, and ground-breaking, technical narratives.
